Happy LAST Monday of school! Tomorrow we have a “Game Day” planned…..board games, BINGO, technology, video, etc. Students are allowed to bring thier own electronics for tomorrows activities. Thursday we will have Graduation practice, with Graduation beginning at 1:00 p.m. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. ENJOY the rest of this beautiful Monday!

We are finished with testing!!!! Give your child a BIG CONGRATULATIONS! Tomorrow we will have our final snack cart. Students need to have AR points/goals by Monday at 3:oo. Those students that have 100 points…notes are going home today. Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

Another SUCCESSFUL day of Testing! Please brag on your child, they have worked really hard. Tomorrow we will test On-Demand writing, and this will be the final day for 5th grade!!!! YIPEEEE. Please encourage your child to eat breakfast and be prepared for writing. I can’t believe this year is coming to an end. It has been a pleasure having your child in class this year! Activities have been planned for the end of the year….see below for a list of dates.

Notes about Graduation, Calvert Drive-In Night, and a Pool Party (after school is out). Please remove, review, sign and return folder for ONE last THT! Happy Monday! Students don’t have any homework this evening. However, some do not have their 90 % average and/or points for AR……so please continue to monitor reading. Tomorrow is EARLY RELEASE…2:00 dismissal. This Wednesday we have “Flip the Teacher” day with BMS teachers. Students always enjoy this day.

Today is Take Home Tuesday! Mid-terms are in your child’s folder (you do not have to return). Students have 4 more weeks to maintain, or improve their grades. Tomorrow we begin our Spring MAP test for Reading and Friday we MAP test for Math.

Tomorrow- Thursday, students will be walking to the public library during Social Studies to view the Civil War display. PLEASE sign and return the yellow persmission slip…..or your child will NOT be able to participate. THANKS. Another reminder that we have Field Day at MCHS this Friday. Please wear field day shirts (if purchased) or a blue shirt. Also pack a lunch, sunscreen and extra water. Tomorrow is our school Science Fair, our homeroom has one participant…..Good Luck, Tyler!
