The following 5th graders scored high enough on their audition to participate in the Festival Chorus for 2011.
Alec J., Ellie E., Maggie S., Allison C., Mattie D., Quaid W., Tanisha B., Sydney P., Megan F., and Leighton S.
These students will represent BES at Murray State University on November 15th. Their guest conductor is a nationally known composer, Sally Albrecht. These students have the distinction of giving a world premiere of one of her newest compositions written specifically for this chorus. Congratulations on this amazing honor!
These students will begin practicing for this performance each Wednesday beginning September 7th from 3:00 until 4:00 in the music room. Parents will pick up their student at the front of the school at 4:00. If you have any questions, please e-mail Mr. Durham.
