Showtime is earlier this year due to testing.  Click this link, Showtime Info 12, for information and an audition form.

Audition forms are due to Mr. Durham By March 5th.  Auditions will be the week of March 12th through the 16th.  Participants who are accepted will be notified and will perform for the school on March 28th.

Congratulations to First District Festival Chorus Participants

The following 5th graders scored high enough on their audition to participate in the Festival Chorus for 2011. 

Alec J., Ellie E., Maggie S., Allison C., Mattie D., Quaid W., Tanisha B., Sydney P., Megan F., and Leighton S.

These students will represent BES at Murray State University on November 15th.  Their guest conductor is a nationally known composer, Sally Albrecht.  These students have the distinction of giving a world premiere of one of her newest compositions written specifically for this chorus.  Congratulations on this  amazing honor!

These students will begin practicing for this performance each Wednesday beginning September 7th from 3:00 until 4:00 in the music room.  Parents will pick up their student at the front of the school at 4:00.  If you have any questions, please e-mail Mr. Durham.
